Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Iris, part of The Hotel. Brussels The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong focus on the restaurant operations, particularly during the evening hours. Flexibility to support banquets and special events occasionally is also part of the deal! This role requires excellent team leadership and management skills, along with a proactive approach to enhancing our dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, task allocation, and performance management.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.

Restaurant Operations:
- Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of the restaurant.
- Maintain high standards of quality, service, and hygiene.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Collaboration and Innovation:
- Work closely with the culinary team to develop and update menus.
- Collaborate on special event planning and execution.
- Bring creative ideas for themed nights and other initiatives to enhance guest experiences.

Administrative Tasks:
- Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare reports on sales, budgets, and other performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Profile
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-end restaurant.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonalskills.
- Ability to work evenings and flexible hours.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the dining experience.
- Clear vision and foresight to manage and improve restaurant operations.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Available as soon as possible
