Sales & Event Planner
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Sales and Events team at The Hotel.Brussels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and managing events from A to Z to maximize revenue and create exceptional experiences for our clients. This position requires, creativity, excellent customer service, and can-do mentality. The Sales and Event Planner will be responsible of our MICE accounts and their events, managing client relationships, coordinating events from prospecting to execution.
Mission
- Support the sales department, develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Preparing proposals and annual contracting.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and requirements. Develop event proposals, budgets, and timelines. Select and secure meeting spaces, catering and additional services. Coordinate logistics, including mainly but not only accommodation and audiovisual equipment.
- Oversee all aspects of event execution, including setup and program flow.
- Ensure that all elements of the event run smoothly and according to plan.
- Create and manage event offers. Negotiate contracts with end client or agencies following the revenue strategy. Follow up on deposits, ensure a smooth invoicing process.
- Input all data in our respective systems.
- Work closely with the other departments in order to ensure the flawless organisation of (residential) meetings & events.
- Post event sales in order to secure returning business.
About you
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- You speak fluently English and French. Proficiency in Dutch is a big plus!
