I've been working at The Hotel Brussels for 7 years now, where I've held several different positions. I've always felt comfortable with my colleagues; they've always encouraged me to improve. My feedback, both positive and negative, has always been taken into account and valued. I've always enjoyed attending staff parties and team outings because our employer has always organized fun events with lovely surprises. Never had Confucius' saying been so true: "Find a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life." Why am I talking about all this? Because I'm pretty much in the same situation today. It's been almost 18 years since I've been in the hospitality sector. It took me a few years and a lot of mistakes to get here, but I made it! As I recently told a friend who asked me about my job, I love my work within Pandox Family! Not for the salary and prospects (even though they are well above market rates) but for the intellectual capital it brings me. The opportunity for constant professional and personal growth is another aspect I appreciate. I enjoy interacting with clients, but I also greatly appreciate the discussions among colleagues. Our work has a very multidisciplinary aspect.
