Management Trainee
As a Management Trainee at Hilton Brussels Grand Place you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to prepare you for a leadership role within our organization. You will gain hands-on experience in various departments, learning the intricacies of hotel operations and management. This role is ideal if you want a learning experience directly from the Management Team at the hotel and looking to fast-track your career in the hotel industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Training and Development:
- Participate in a structured rotational training program across multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, and Finance.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in hotel management. You might organize some of these yourself.

Operational Support:
- Assist department heads in daily operations and administrative tasks (including Management on Duty role).
- Support in managing guest relations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.- Quality Control, Hilton Brand Standards.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and effectively.

Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and supervise staff in various departments during the rotational program.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Motivate and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment.- where needed/possible.

Project Management:
- Undertake special projects assigned by the General Manager or Department Heads.
- Analyze and report on project outcomes, providing recommendations for improvement.

Financial Management:
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for different departments.( Inventory control, etc)
- Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Sales and Marketing:
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote hotel services and amenities.- be part of the Social Media Group
- Assist in sales activities, including client meetings, site visits, and contract negotiations.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all hotel operations comply with local laws, regulations, and hotel policies.- guide by our FLS Team
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and guests.- With the prevention Officer
Our search
- Hotel management or tourism student with an internship agreement of six months as from December 2025.
- Fluency in both English and French is essential for comfortable interaction with our international guests. Knowledge of Dutch or any other language is a plus!
- Full of energy, you can work in a team while keeping a smile on your face.
- Good leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Most importantly, you have a passion for hospitality and management.
