JOB SCOPE:
Manage portfolios with key & prospect accounts to drive revenue to the hotel and increase market share by undertaking sales activities & events in line with the commercial strategy to achieve/exceed budget and quality targets within the allocated industries / markets segment (focus MICE and corporate).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the portfolio’s accounts in order to maximize revenue and market share within the allocated industries / markets segment
Sells all facets/outlets of the hotel by implementing new ways of selling and entertaining clients
Conducts a regular pattern of sales calls with key contacts, including cold calling & telesales
Organises and hosts client events with key contacts
Manages and submit all RFP’s within the allocated market segment
Actively prospects for new business and finds new/innovative ways to broaden his/her prospect/client network
Monitors competitor activities and assists in market intelligence to be on top of new opportunities and trends in the markets and in the industries assigned
Travels when required to promote the hotel and develop new business
Obtains perfect knowledge of the hotel’s need periods
Analyses success of sales actions
Conducts regular account reviews
Participates in trade shows and industry forums
Perfect knowledge of the hotel KPI’s
Participates in sales actions/blitzes and contracting covering our segments
Accepts other tasks and challenges (within reason) that will help to achieve hotel’s top and bottom line target
Administration
Ensures input of all strategic information in the foreseen tool
Completes weekly & monthly reports
Sales meetings and active participation with ideas and actions in order to help achieving the hotel targets
