What will I be doing?
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office. Specifically, you will:
Guest Service
Welcome guests and ensure a warm, friendly and professional arrival and departure experience.
Ensure accurate and efficient running of Reception, including check-in and check-out procedures.
Respond to guest enquiries, requests and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.
Manage post check-in courtesy calls to ensure guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns.
Follow up with guests regarding feedback received through Stay Experience Platform, TripAdvisor and other guest satisfaction platforms.
Respond professionally to online guest reviews and comments in accordance with hotel standards.
Ensure all guest deliveries, mail and messages are received and communicated efficiently.
Answer switchboard calls professionally and in line with Hilton standards.
Front Office Operations
Process reservations, room allocations, payments and guest accounts accurately.
Understand all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and hotel facilities to confidently assist guests.
Maximize room occupancy by applying up-selling techniques and promoting hotel services and facilities.
Follow the hotel's procedures regarding foreign currency exchange, cash handling, credit cards and payment methods in accordance with the hotel credit policy.
Operate the Property Management System (OnQ) and Front Office equipment in accordance with Hilton policies and procedures.
Ensure all guest information is handled confidentially and in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Communication & Teamwork
Keep the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors fully informed of any significant guest feedback, operational issues or incidents.
Maintain excellent communication with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage and all other hotel departments.
Assist other departments whenever necessary while maintaining positive working relationships with all Team Members.
Attend departmental meetings and all required Hilton training sessions.
Follow and adhere to Hilton brand standards, grooming standards and company policies at all times.
Guest Satisfaction & Quality
Monitor guest satisfaction through Stay Experience Platform and other feedback platforms.
Prepare regular Stay Experience Platform performance reports and share relevant insights with the Front Office leadership team.
Develop initiatives and team challenges to improve guest satisfaction scores.
Contribute to action plans designed to increase Stay Experience Platform performance and enhance the overall guest experience.
Identify opportunities to exceed guest expectations and create memorable stays.
Safety & Compliance
Act in accordance with fire, health & safety, security and emergency procedures.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards and security concerns immediately.
Ensure compliance with Hilton policies, operational procedures and legal requirements.
What are we looking for?
A Receptionist working at Hilton is always working on behalf of our guests and with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following:

Strong attention to detail.
Fluency in English, French and/or Dutch.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Preferred
Previous Front Office or hotel reception experience.
Experience with Hilton OnQ or another Property Management System.
Knowledge of Hilton Honors.
Additional language skills are considered an asset.
